Read-a-thon: 9:00pm post

Well, alas, I have not read a single word since the last post BUT hubby and I had a great dinner!

I am going to read some more of Rebecca now and post at least one more time tonight.

I may give thought to setting the alarm for about 5:00 am and squeezing in a couple of more hours of reading before the official ending time of 7:00am. I will not make my original goal of 12 hours of reading -- but I am going to strive for 10 hours. My type-A personality is screaming "failure" -- but the new, more positive me is saying "so what!" I have had a blast so far - and I still have quite a few more hours to go.

Thanks for all the wonderful comments! Cheerleaders are truly the best :)

  2. I usually get a lot of my reading done in the middle of the night or very early in the morning. You're doing great - don't worry about quantity - just have fun!

Good luck with the rest of your reading. I have to admit I'm starting to get tired :-/ Cheerleading is wearing me out!! :-D

  4. Glad you two had a good celebration dinner. As long as the read-a-thon experience has been fun, that's all that matters...and you did get a lot of reading in!

  5. You've done awesome, Molly! The main thing is that you've had fun :) Don't be too hard on yourself...there is always next time (and maybe I'll be joining you all again in October - by then Raven will be older and hopefully I'll have more energy!)

  6. Food is important! :) You're not a failure at all.

On a better note, Rebecca is awesome! And the Hitchcock adaptation is awesome too. :D
