Wordless Wednesday

I have been doing a lot of research on Impressionist painters lately, in particular Degas and Cassatt.  I am hoping to visit the Musee d'Orsay this summer and do a bit more research in person, but until that time, I will use these pictures to remind me how much I love Paris!

Happy Wednesday!

I love Paris and your photos! If I can improve my camera skills, I'll do this meme one day.

Molly, I had the opportunity to visit the Musee d'Orsay 2 summers ago. It is amazing. It was my favorite museum in Paris by far (yes, even more than the Louvre). All those paintings and sculptures you have only seen in books and on posters are just so much more fabulous in person. Enjoy your visit. I am jealous.

That would be a lovely trip. Have been to NYC several times & on my last trip visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Spectacular! Going back this Friday . . . hoping to take in a couple other museums.

I'm sure this is one of those places where the pictures can't really do it justice (although they sure are beautiful!).

Awesome Molly. I went to Paris in the early 70's but did not see this.
