Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul - and sings the tunes without the words - and never stops at all. ~ Emily Dickinson |

Good morning Molly, what a great photo. Love the detail and the way the gulls have no idea you are there. The words of Emily Dickinson suit the photo well.

I've never seen absolute hope go away for those who continue onward otherwise why should we continue. Hope is like much anticipated Christmas presents waiting to be opened during a Christmas season that seems like it will never end. Or hope can be a long ride in a terrible rainstorm and yet we can seem to detect some glimmer of sunshine far up ahead. The good is there, but sometimes we are impatient to get to that destination.

Thank goodness for Emily Dickinson! We could all use quite a bit of hope these days.
