Your thoughts mirror mine and in fact I just posted a bit about my thoughts the other day. Yes, I love to read, but I have never been the deep, professional type book blogger that many others have been, and my reviews have never been deep or formal and frankly there is so much more to all of us than just the books--and like Alyce, I enjoy the life posts-the tidbits from people I will never meet in real life (in all likelihood) and who live in different parts of the country or world. Actually I find some of that simply fascinating! So post away---I for one will still be reading!
*smiles* Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13029664492284742183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7736127069847988207.post-55104424483268353222011-07-07T19:29:28.922-05:002011-07-07T19:29:28.922-05:00I really think you need to make the blog what you ...I really think you need to make the blog what you want it to be ... and forget what others think or expect. I read your blog for who you are and to learn what you're up to.

I think that's what my readers are reading my blog for, at this time, however once it becomes a personal blog, then the question becomes, how personal? I know that you're supposed to give your reader something to take away--some little gift of new info or something. I can do that, but I will not write posts for that purpose only. I'm far too busy to have to add that to my plate.

Anyway. I'm always interested to hear whatever you have to say about anything. You are an interesting person.Cathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16900383840255608898noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7736127069847988207.post-79400779027474750772011-06-28T17:28:21.588-05:002011-06-28T17:28:21.588-05:00Sounds like some pretty good topics to me! We read, learn, travel and taste, learn some more, we even have an app where we can rate what we taste. So much fun. And I love Allrecipes. If it makes you feel better, put a statement in your header design that this is MY COZY BOOK NOOK and life nook or somesuch. I think that so many of use are transitioning over to some posts of about our lives and our other interests instead of completley about books. And I applaud that. I mean, we've gotten to know a bit about each other and I think it is natural to share about vacations and life events and building a house (me) and exercise and pictures of all the above, plus books.

I would be honored and pleased to read posts on any of the above topics. Or, I'd be glad to have you check in and say "I'm still alive. Having a great time doing ____. Planning to ____.". Whatever you write is perfect. So excited about your trip and I know you are too. Hugs and I'm so glad to hear about your writing and journaling. It seems that it is helping you find new joy in your life. And that's a very wonderful thing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7736127069847988207.post-6457865835761031692011-06-28T15:50:34.250-05:002011-06-28T15:50:34.250-05:00Gosh Molly, you are full of ideas!!
