I'll have to try to remember the next time we go somewhere. I think it is wonderful that we are so rarely without a camera... but I do strongly encourage people to periodically back up phone photos to your computer. And dare I say... print out a few :) Hard copy photos with a few words of journaling allow us to relive the trip - and share it with others.Mollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08414201637917215413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7736127069847988207.post-34658762219124299862017-04-13T09:51:06.437-05:002017-04-13T09:51:06.437-05:00How wonderful it must be to relive the trips throu...How wonderful it must be to relive the trips through your journals!Mollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08414201637917215413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7736127069847988207.post-86565479205026512712017-04-13T09:50:33.456-05:002017-04-13T09:50:33.456-05:00No worries, Debby! If you don't have photos, try to think of just one small moment and write about that. Oftentimes, the small moments are gateway to larger memories.Mollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08414201637917215413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7736127069847988207.post-53333343608588641972017-04-12T14:42:23.994-05:002017-04-12T14:42:23.994-05:00I've never journaled while traveling - now I w...I've never journaled while traveling - now I wish I had.Debby https://www.blogger.com/profile/02574297621214864538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7736127069847988207.post-3784377847151661792017-04-12T11:08:41.461-05:002017-04-12T11:08:41.461-05:00I never thought about journaling about the trip be...I never thought about journaling about the trip beforehand, but the anticipation is part of the fun. We need to fill in the context...what happened before and after the shutter released.

In fact.. you've given me an idea... perhaps next year's blogging challenge can be Scrapbooking A-Z :)Mollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08414201637917215413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7736127069847988207.post-82931718980491057012017-04-12T07:45:45.686-05:002017-04-12T07:45:45.686-05:00I always take notes and jot down thoughts while tr...I always take notes and jot down thoughts while traveling so that when I get home I can scrapbook the memories. Sometimes I make traditional scrapbooks and lately I've done them digitally but they all include lots of journaling. It's how I remember my adventures. I love to include the before and after too. When we went to Costa Rica there was a lot more preparation as my girls were just toddlers at the time. I have many pages about those before trip moments in my book. Some are as fun as the during ones.WeekendsInMaine
Weekends in Mainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03137035578512456633noreply@blogger.com
